There are two types of buckle, plastic and metal, and the two buckle are often used together. And the shape and color of the buckle are various. Colored plastic buckles are generally made by directly injecting raw materials. Then you know how to make colored metal buckles. Do you know? Today we talk about metal buckle.

Because metal buckle are different from plastics, physical or chemical methods need to be used to form a surface layer on the surface of the material to improve the performance of the product in terms of appearance, texture, and function. For example, D-ring buckle, tri-glide buckles, hooks, etc., which are often used in pet products, have different pulling requirements according to the size of the pet, and different color requirements according to the color of the produced pet products. Therefore, there are several common manufacturing processes for metal products:

1. Plating

Plating is a technique that uses electrolysis to attach a metal film to the surface of a metal, thereby preventing corrosion, improving wear resistance, electrical conductivity, light reflectivity, and improving aesthetics. Plating is a common production process for hardware luggage buckles, such as our common hook buckle, D-ring buckle, tri-glide buckle, hook, wire diameter, etc., and often uses the method of plating. And plating is also divided into two methods of hang plating and barrel-roll plating, the method is different, the color and texture of the product will be different.

2. Electrophoresis

Used for stainless steel, aluminum alloy and other material products, which can make the product show various colors and maintain the metallic luster, while enhancing the surface performance and having good anti-corrosion performance.

3. Polishing

Use polishing tools and abrasive particles or other polishing media to modify the surface of the workpiece.

There are other production processes, but the most commonly used are the above three processes, which can optimize the appearance, texture and function of the product.
